Tim Duggan: Killer Thinking & How To Create Ideas That Positively Shape The World.
DNA Of Purpose - A podcast by Rebecca Maklad

Today's guest Tim Duggan and he is a successful author, advisor, self-confessed optimist, and one of the nicest humans I have had the pleasure of interviewing. In fact, this is the second time I have interviewed Tim, and both times he wowed me with his charisma and quick and witty intellect. Tim has co-founded several digital media ventures, most notably Junkee Media, the leading digital publisher for young Australians. His first book, Cult Status: How To Build A Business People Adore, was named the Best Entrepreneurship and Small Business Book at the 2021 Australian Business Book Awards. If you would like to learn more, listen to our first episode: (https://futurecrun.ch/podcastblog/tim-duggan-cult-status-the-brands-that-pioneer-with-purpose). His second book on creativity in the workplace is Killer Thinking: How To Turn Good Ideas Into Brilliant Ones. Tim is also the Chairman of the Digital Publishers Alliance, a group representing over 100 titles from the leading independent publishers in the country, as well as working with a range of businesses he's passionate about. Now in hearing Tim's bio, it is evident that his achievements are mind-blowing, but there is a reason I wanted to talk to Tim for the first episode of this new look and feel podcast. Tim embodies what I call the OPTIMIZED leadership trinity. He is purposeful, a person of influence and an intelligent optimist. He is also driven by the belief that business and business leaders have the power to create the solutions the world needs. There is so much to take away from this podcast. Why optimism as a mindset leads to solutions focussed thinking. Why Killer Thinking is the ultimate guide to creating, developing and recognising incredible ideas that will revolutionise the way you work. We demystify creativity, explore the art of surfing the next big trend or rising tide, and we unpack a vast array of leadership mindset tools. We explore creativity, adaptability and what Tim refers to as leading from the middle. Quite simply, this episode is jam-packed with tools and tips for you to become an OPTIMIZED leader! I also want to give a shout-out to our beautiful creative director Amy Davron Rose, who joined me for a natter in the studio with Tim. You will hear a beautiful voice and wise questions during the interview. Amy, the evolution of this podcast would not have been possible without you, and you will always be in the fabric of Optimized. Regardless of whether you are driving, chilling out at home, or plugged into your headphones in the office, get ready to dive into the mindset of an incredible human being who has made it his business to ignite the kind of killer thinking that will change the world in the best kind of way.
